Thank you. On November 18 the new exhbition "PERGAMON. Masterpieces from the Ancient Metropolis with a 360° Panorama by Yadegar Asisi" opened for the first time. The too long name is often replaced by the acronym "Pergamon360". Most interesting is the mix of real ancient pieces such as statues with modern multimedia techniques and formats. "The panorama takes visitors back to the year AD 129, showing the ancient city of Pergamon on the west coast of Asia Minor. Yadegar Asisi reconstructs the city as it was during the time of the High Roman Empire under the rule of the Emperor Hadrian (AD 117–138). Embedded in the terraces of the Acropolis atop the city’s 300-metre-high hill, monumental buildings, among them several temples and a massive theatre, blend into the landscape of hilly peaks." (original statement from website of exhibition). More details you will find on the following websites:

On October 27 2017 the last flight of former airline Air Berlin landed in Berlin-Tegel. After years of bad numbers the airline was closing business finally. For Berlin an era with an own independent airline ended. Thanks to all members of staff who operated that airline and created a lot of nice memories.
